Laugh Out Loud
Laugh Out Loud (LOL) is an annual fundraiser hosted by the George Hull Centre to support children’s mental health. In 2015, Grip was commissioned to rebrand the event, sparking an evolution of the brand that now embraces new colors and photography styles each year.
The talent participating in the event were photographed in black and white with a wide-angle lens, creating a dynamic and playful perspective that captured their charismatic presence. To complement this, the typographic and visual elements featured bright, vibrant colors, maintaining the event's upbeat and positive energy.
As the designer on this project, I was responsible for developing a fresh branding direction and collaborating closely with the art director to present various options to the client. Following approval, I partnered with the production team and printers to bring the designs to life across banners, print ads, and invitations.
